The Wishing Well (2007)

The Wishing Well, found masonite, wood, paint
The
Wishing Well is constructed of differing lengths of 1 inch spruce and
intersected with plateaus of found masonite. The sculpture adopts the
form of a modest side-table that has been cryptically elaborated to
accommodate and encourage a series of minor relationships between the
levels and lengths that have been added, the found masonite as a
stand-in for a conversational subject with the wooden lengths
representing the narrative associations that occur through
conversation.
